Explosive softball at
East Coast Showdown
The cliches all fit. You've hear 'em. “Go hard every play” … “Always want the ball” … “Softball: there’s nothing soft about it” … or, most appropriate, “It doesn't get any better than this!”
That was Harford Xtreme Showcase softball today, Saturday, June 9, 2012. The action never seemed to let up. Spectacular plays. Awesome hitting. Solid pitching. Errors, Ks, misplays, too, but regrouping and comebacks, as well.
College coaches and recruiters gathered on the sidelines added to the excitement. Both teams on the field played with intensity through three games on a beautiful early “summer” day.

The
girls are resting this evening, many with bruised fingers, arms,
shoulders, and ankles in ice from today's play, but everyone of them
will be ready for the championship games tomorrow...
