Four co-captains lead team
into spring / summer games

named a co-captain of the Harford
Xtreme Showcase.

She joins a leadership quartet of
captains that now also number class of 2013 pitcher, shortstop Jess
Moore, Fallston, Md/ Fallston HIgh School, class of 2013 catcher,
3b, 1b, outfield Kelsie
Traylor, Severn, Md/ Archbishop Spalding High School, and class
of 2012 Caroline
Weimer, Bel Air, Md/ C. Milton Wright High School.

Amanda began playing softball in a rec
league back in 2000. Since 2005, she has covered third, second, and
first base, and the outfield, for eight different travel ball teams:
Forest Hill Heat, Churchville Lightning, Maryland Stars Black,
Virginia Stars Gold, Tuff ‘n’ Tuffer Elite, Maryland Magic and
Magic Elite, and currently Harford Xtreme Showcase.

In varsity school-ball at The John
Carroll School, Bel Air, Md, she stands out as a 2011 IAAM Division
“A” All Star and 2011 All Harford County – First Team. She also
won the “Triple Threat” Award for varsity softball
A first-rate student, Amanda will major this fall in Marine Biology at Coastal
Carolina University.

This co-captain tetrad of fastpitch
talent will lead the Harford County travel-ball team through eight
tournaments during this upcoming spring and summer. The schedule will exceed
four dozen games played on fields south to Florence, SC, and Raleigh,
NC, and north to New England's “Finest Showcase” in Plainville,
Mass. The first schedule venue will be the “Memorial
Day Madness” in southern Pennsylvania. In addition, the team
will play in the Harford Community College Unlimited
League through the 2012 summer with doubleheaders on Thursday
