Xtreme player
Freshman HR, double, 2 RBI,
provides strong offensive day

The C. Milton Wright High School Mustangs, Bel Air, Md, lost one yesterday, falling 9-3 to the Rising Sun Tigers.

Still, freshman Caroline Weimer, a Harford Xtreme Showcase travel-ball first base, second base infielder, gave the Tigers all that they could handle at the plate.

The game began well for the Mustangs.

C. Milton Wright actually raced to the lead in the second inning on RBI drives by Caroline and teammate Alicia McMahon. But, the Tigers would answer with four consecutive hits in the third and, as the game progressed, more runs.

Then, in the sixth inning, Caroline waved goodbye to a pitch she sent sailing over the left field fence for a solo home run.

Caroline ended the night 2-for-3 with a double, home run and two RBIs.
