"The SCAD Women were only able to complete the first game of a scheduled double-header with conference rival Warner University.

"The rains came and even shortened the first game to five innings. which the Bees won 8-4.

"How they did it was a feast for sore eyes. The game was a very exciting one because SCAD came back from a 3-run deficit to win with two outs in their last at bat. It doesn't get much better than that.

"Coach Knecht decided to bring in Sydnee Schorr (Easton, Md) to seal the deal. And she did. She retired the Warriors in their fifth and the game was official. Then the rains came."
