On the way to college
Kelsea Hilditch scores big
in classroom & on softball field

There are many paths to higher education.

There's only one that everyone must travel. That is the academic route, the most important one!

Kelsea Hilditch
No one knows better than the Harford Xtreme Showcase outfielder and switch hitter -- class of 2014 Kelsea Hilditch

This winter, she devoted herself to personally bettering the whole team's GPA average of 3.40 before the beginning of summer showcase tournament season. She did it, grabbing a 3.47 for herself in the most recent marking period.

There's a real winning score that marks the true road to college recruiting success.

Softball plays an important role in her student journey, too. Kelsea roams center field for the Bel Air High School Bobcat Varsity softball team. She also leads off in the batting order. She bats right, slaps left, and easily takes extra bases and runs down fly balls with her speed.

Kelsea Hilditch slap hitting and bunting during a Harford Xtreme Showcase practice last week.

Now, top off her athletic skill with a GPA even better than 3.47, which she has targeted to achieve in the fourth marketing period, and she is bolting down the road to a college degree.

Kelsea will enter her junior high school year in the fall. This summer she will be on the travel-ball circuit with the Harford Xtreme Showcase to visit venues ranging from Florence, SC, to Raleigh, NC, to New England with stops in MD, PA, and NJ. CLICK HERE for the full tournament schedule.
