"The Capital Athletic Conference released its weekly awards on Monday and Salisbury University freshman pitcher Rachel Johnson (Preston, Md) was named the league's Softball Pitcher of the week for the second time this season.

"Johnson worked one game in the Sea Gulls' only doubleheader of the week against the University of Mary Washington. The Preston, Md., native picked up her 10th victory on the year against the Eagles with a single-game high of 14 strikeouts. The freshman had a no-hit bid going into the seventh inning."
