Harford Xtreme Showcase
Club practice readies 
for summer tournaments

The Harford Xtreme Showcase travel-ball club is less than six weeks away from its first 2012 tournament: South Central Pennsylvania's Memorial Day Madness.

Today's four-hour practice at the beautiful Highland Park, Street, Md, unfolded under sunny skies and 82 degree heat, which made the exercises feel like the summer schedule was already here!

The team will soon be on the road to play eight tournaments through August with venues from Florence, SC, to Raleigh, NC, to the final contests held in New England. Other showcase events will be held in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Plus the team also participates in the Harford Community College Unlimited League with doubleheaders on summer's Thursday evenings.

There will be 12-14 complexes and 45-50 fields tapped for age divisions 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U.

Last year, more than 190 teams participated, earning over 60 sets of team and individual trophies or plaques, along with game MVP medals awarded at every game and, ultimately, all-tournament team plaques.

The format is 6 games pool into elimination with a guaranteed 8- 10 games played.
