A
triple, a bunt, a walk
Marylanders
make a difference
If
you know of a hometown Marylander softball player making news on the
collegiate softball diamond that has not be spotlighted at this blog,
please write us about it at xtremeshowcaseblog@gmail.com. There's plenty of
Marylanders making us proud and we don't want to overlook any of
them.

A TRIPLE: The
Towson
Tigers came from behind to beat the Morgan
State Bears by a score of 7-5 yesterday. Senior right fielder
Brianna
Jones, Baltimore, Md, tripled home an RBI in a three-run sixth
for Towson, which was the inning that decided the game.

In a second game, Sophomore pitcher
Morgan State Jordan
Eades, Reistertown, Md, started in the circle against the Boston
College Eagles, but ran into a no-hit game pitched against her.

A BUNT: The Mount
St. Mary's Mountaineers single run was enough to overcome the
Stetson
University Hatters in a 1-0 contest. Plus, The Mount's pitching allowed just a single hit. Freshman shortstop, catcher Holly
Buckel's, Finksburg, Md, sacrifice bunt moved the only run that
would score for the day from first to second.

A WALK: The Maryland
Terrapins' fired up bats were knocking in runs against the
Southern

Sports. Senior catcher, outfielder Sloane

against the Salukis. Freshman pitcher Kaitlyn
