Player, Pitcher of the Week ► CAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK...
Wesley College Wolverine freshman utility player Brynae Goodley, Chesapeake City, Md, has been named the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Softball Player of the Week.

Leading Wesley to four wins in six games, Goodley batted 9-of-19 (.474) for the week to go with a home run, four doubles and a team-high nine RBIs. Collecting hits in five of the six games with four multi-hit games, she also drew a walk and scored five runs.
For the season, the utility player is hitting .390 with a team-high six doubles. Her 16 RBIs and .610 slugging percentage are both second on the team and she is a perfect 3-for-3 in steal attempts.

Salisbury University Sea Gull freshman pitcher Rachel Johnson, Preston, Md, has been named the CAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Johnson earned three wins in three appearances during the past week, including the first no-hitter of her collegiate career, shutting down Grove City College on Friday, striking out 11 to match a career high in that category during the no-no.
Rachel struck out 26 in 20 innings this week beating Virginia Wesleyan College and The College of New Jersey as well. She lowered her ERA to 0.83 with the three victories.
