Marylanders in a Delaware
DIII doubleheader next week

A week from this Wednesday, February 29, eleven college players, who once wore Marylander high school uniforms, will find themselves on the same field in a DIII doubleheader.

The contests will be between Washington College Shorewomen and Wesley College Wolverines at 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM on the Wesley's DuPont field, 500 Mary Street, Dover, Delaware.

In the battle of the hometown Marylanders, it is a bit lopsided. It will be two Wolverines pitted against nine Shorewomen, or even ten Shorewomen, counting head coach Lacey Lister (hailing from Denton, Md)! Of course, the true match-ups of nine against nine will be quite different on the actual softball diamond.

Here are the Maryland names that fans may spot around the ballpark.
