Preseason drills,
Practice makes perfect

Extra, volunteer practice brought many of the Harford Xtreme Showcase team together again last night, Thursday, February 2, for hitting, slap hitting, bunting, while pitchers and catchers focused on signals, pitch location and pitch selection, and catchers stressed blocking, form and popping up.

Bases was the workout venue, a softball/ baseball gymnasium of hitting and pitching tunnels located outside of Baltimore. The players drove from distances as far as south of Annapolis, North Maryland, Eastern Shore and Delaware.

Coach Sam headed up the practice, moving quickly from station to station. He also filmed many of the girls to further analyze their strengths and areas needing improvement.
