The Washington College Shorewomen have named three co-captains for 2012. Two of the three are hometown Marylander players.

The three teammates are junior pitcher, outfielder Brittany Walter, Forest Hill, Md, junior second base Shaelan Nottingham, Ocean City, Md, and senior third base Sally Snover, Charlotte, NC.

Brittany Walter

Brittany, last year, set the school's strikeout record in the circle with 77. In her career she is 15-21 with a 4.07 ERA in 218.1 innings with 140 strikeouts. She is fifth all-time at Washington in strikeouts.

Shaelan Nottingham

Shaelan has started in all 74 games since arriving at Washington College and is batting .249 with one home run and 26 RBI. She has scored 36 runs, recorded 54 hits and is a perfect 7-for-7 in stolen bases.

Sally Snover

Sally batted a career-best .299 in 2011 while drawing a school-record 26 walks. The 26 walks also led the Centennial Conference. She scored a team-high 25 runs and led the squad with a .438 on-base percentage.
