The Messiah College Falcons picked up a huge sacrifice bunt yesterday followed by big hit to overtake Lebanon Valley College in the 10th inning with a runner on second according to International Tie Breaker rules.

The perfect execution began when senior center fielder Jaclyn Merkel, Linthicum, Md, moved the runner to third with a bunt. 

Next, junior left fielder Stephanie Shell, Jarretsville, Md, step to the plate to drive the single into right field that won the game.  

Stephanie was 2-for-3 in the game.
