The Georgetown University Hoyas lost a heartbreaker to the Longwood Lancers by a score of 4-3. Megan Hyson, Pasadena, Md, started in the circle. On Sunday, March 4...

The NC State Wolfpack came from behind to beat the Longwood Lancers by a score of 4-3. Freshman pitcher Emily Weiman, Pasadena, Md, entered the game in the fourth, and Longwood plated another run to extended their lead to 3-0. Emily found her groove in the fifth inning, retiring the Lancers in order. Then, there was no looking back as the Wolfpack chip away to win the game. Emily struck out 6 of 15 batters she faced.
