DI Tuesday games 
Three shutouts amid many RBI

HOME RUN FOR LAUREN: The Tennessee Lady Vol rolled past Georgia Southern, 7-0 and 9-0, in a doubleheader sweep.

Junior second base Lauren Gibson, Pasadena, Md, was 2-for-6 on the day with a home run, 2 RBI, and 3 runs scored.


TWO VERY DIFFERENT CONTESTS: The Seton Hall Pirates put on a 13 hit barrage to down the Towson Tigers 9-5 yesterday in the first half of a doubleheader, but had their bats quieted in the late afternoon as the Tigers roared back to a 1-0 victory.

In the first game, Pirate senior catcher Nicole Loewenstein, Joppa, Md, was 1-for-3 with an RBI. Tiger center fielder Erika Stasch, Pasadena, Md, belted a double and brought home 2 RBI.

In the low hit second game, Tiger senior second base Haley Stueckler, Huntingtown, Md, swung 1-for-2 in the game.

On the day, Tiger senior right fielder Brianna Jones, Baltimore, Md, nailed a hit, RBI, and a run scored.
