► PLAYER OF THE WEEK...

Senior outfielder Erika Stasch, Pasadena, Md, has been named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Player of the Week.

Erika led the Towson Tigers to a 3-2 week, including a sweep of Columbia at home. 

She finished the week batting an impressive .692 with nine hits on 13 at-bats. Erika scored seven runs and tallied seven RBI to go along. She recorded two doubles and three home runs and advanced to first on two walks.

► PITCHER OF THE WEEK...

Sophomore Shelby Taylor, Easton, Md, has been named the CAA Pitcher of the Week.

Shelby posted a 2-0 mark plus a save in the circle for the Drexel Dragons with a 0.40 earned run average. 

She tossed 17.2 innings in four appearances allowing just one earned run (two total on the week, both against Louisiana Tech) on 15 hits. She walked four batters and fanned 13 at the plate. 

Taylor started two games and pitched one combined shutout on the week.
